ANTHONY Cacace won the Celtic super-featherweight title in Edinburgh last night with an emphatic stoppage win against local favourite Ronnie Clark.

Midway through the last of the 10 rounds Belfast fighter Cacace nailed Clark with a right hook and then unloaded a two-handed barrage that forced the referee to stop it.

Earlier on the bill Marco McCullough bounced back from his shock defeat against Zoltan Kovacs in July with a one-round demolition of Sergey Logins in Edinburgh last night.

“He looked great doing it,” said his coach John Breen.

“Onwards and upwards. Next in Mark’s career is Jon Slowey in Belfast on November 20. Bring it on.”
