BORN2RUN'S Run Forest Run series is bracing itself for a busy few weeks as the final two events are run on back-to-back weekends.

The Gosford event which fell victim to the weather on January 20 will now take place on Sunday, February 18, before the final race in the series takes place six days later on February 24 at Castlewellan Forest Park.

Online entry for Gosford is open until Wednesday February 14 at 11pm, while entries will also be taken on the day.

At Castlewellan everyone that has completed six out of eight races will receive their FREE Forest Finisher T-shirt.

Born2Run are also delighted to announce a new event in their calendar, with The Glenarm Castle Challenge on April 14 replacing the Castleward Challenge.

The Glenarm Castle Challenge will offer runners a range of distances with a Half Marathon, a 10K and a 5K to choose from. For those who prefer to take things at a more leisurely pace, there will also be a 10K walk. Complete with a castle dating back to 1636, the working estate offers runners a scenic mix of forest trails, farmland and views along the Glenarm river.

Early Bird rate is on offer until Wednesday March 14 2018.
