The Irish News, December 23 2009: Justin Crozier takes Omagh reins ST Enda’s, Omagh are hoping former Derry manager Paddy Crozier will end their 21-year separation from the O’Neill Cup.
The Tyrone club confirmed last night that Crozier will take charge of their senior team in 2010.
The Omagh club have been building for the future with a fantastic underage structure that has spawned several championship successes over the past few years.
Elsewhere, 2004 county champions Slaughtneil have named Damian Barton as their new manager. Slaughtneil’s neighbours, Watty Graham’s, Glen have also secured a high-profile appointment.
Former St Gall’s and Antrim manager Mickey Culbert will take charge of the Maghera club in the New Year.
Loup manager John Brennan has yet to make any decision about his future.
Having claimed his seventh county title, the championship specialist will have no shortage of offers.
Damian Barton’s move from Burren to Slaughtneil has created a vacancy at the Down club which has been filled by Frank Dawson.
Dawson has left Longstone and his post there has gone to Jody Gormley. Former Louth manager Eamon McEneaney is now with Mayobridge and Paul Lamb is with Clonduff.
