Club Call: The social calender of the GAA

Bredagh raised almost £19,000 for the Children’s Cancer Unit at the Royal Hospital through the participation of 64 members in the relay and individual sections of the Belfast Marathon. Chairman Malcolm McFarland said he was hugely proud of the total as two children connected with the club, Erin Donnelly and Ryan Cleary, were benefitting from treatment at the facility. He thanked all the runners, who included Johnny Cleary, father of Ryan, and Michelle Donnelly, mother of Erin.

BALLYMARTIN: Saturday, July 6 has been set as the date for the club's family fun day. There will be a big breakfast to start the day, wacky races, bouncy castles/games etc, football matches and the night will be rounded off with Big O and music from Tiny in the Ballymartin Inn.

ST BRONAGH'S: The topic of next week's talk will focus on how to protect your online reputation and will be open to secondary school students only. The talk will take place at Pettit Park at 7.30pm on Tuesday, May 21.

DESERTMARTIN: The club will hold its annual 10km/5km road race/walk on Sunday at 10am. Registration for participants will take place in the Gaelic Centre on Longfield Road from 8.45-9.45am.
