SAVAL: The club is holding its annual May Day festival from tomorrow night until Sunday.

Friday night sees Saval's comedy club as three stand-up comedians take to the stage with compere Darren Matthews. Tickets now on sale.

On Saturday there is the return of 'Saval's Fittest Family', with the Kearneys back to retain their title. This is followed by live music in the lounge while Texas Hold ‘Em will take place in the main hall from 8pm.

A coffee morning takes place on Sunday morning following underage training and the fun will continue with a family fun day.

The grand finale sees the fabulous Nooks return to the stage to close the weekend. Doors open at 9pm.

BALLYMARTIN: There will be a charity fundraising table quiz in the Ballymartin Inn on Saturday at 8pm. Six to eight people per team, £5 per head, followed by DJ Tiny. There will also be a raffle with great prizes - proceeds to Kilkeel RNLI Newry Hospice and Haematology Ward, Craigavon.

ST JOHN’S, DRUMNAQUOILE: Social media sensation Rory's Stories has been booked for Saturday, May 20.

The club’s annual golf classic will once again be held at Spa Golf Club on Wednesday, July 12. Tee times are now available to book from 9am-3pm. The cost is £30 per person (£20 for Spa Golf Club members) which includes green fee, goody bag and a meal.

ST JOSEPH’S, GLENAVY: This year the marquee is back on the pitch and there are a whole host of events and activities for the Glenavy festival. Tonight there will be bingo followed by a poker night, while tomorrow there is a casino night.

Saturday sees the Mark Ruddy memorial seven-a-side tournament and there will be a family quiz in the evening. Sunday starts with a big breakfast followed by a Prince and Princess party. The highlight of the festival will be the ‘Jigs and Reels’ competition.

ST PATRICK’S, MAYOBRIDGE: The club will hold its annual club day on Sunday. The day will commence with a parade, led by the Mayobridge band from the church to the club grounds after 11.15am Mass.

Then, in the playing fields, there will be lots of events for all the family to enjoy, including the annual ‘Duck Derby’ at 2pm. Music will begin at 5pm with the talented Molly Maguire’s.

BREDAGH: The club is presenting a battle of the imaginary Gaelic football titans on Saturday at 8pm at Rosario Youth Hall on the Ormeau Road when the last production of St Mungo’s will be staged. The well known team of Grimes and McKee star as the men from Luganulk. Tickets for sale at the door for £15, or call 07552 164004.
