Details have been confirmed for Sir Alex Ferguson's visit to Craigavon next month.

The legendary Manchester United manager will be speaking at a mental health awareness event in Craigavon Civic Centre on Monday April 10.

It has been organised by his former United player Pat McGibbon, of the Lurgan-based Train to be Smart charity which promotes positive mental health through sport.

Ferguson will also meet boys and girls from the TTBS football teams during participation games on the day at the Lurgan Town Arena.

Tickets for the charity event at the Civic Centre are now available from Skelton Travel in Lurgan on 028 38 324741.

As well as Sir Alex, other keynote speakers include former Man City player Paul Lake, who is mental health welfare officer for the Premier League, and the motivational speaker, Watt Nicoll.

The event will be hosted by BBC football expert Liam Beckett.

It runs from 11am until 2pm and the cost of  £36.50 also covers a light lunch. All proceeds go to TTBS.
