A 10-year-old Lisburn tennis player was selected to attend a Ten-Pro Global Junior Tennis Tournament held at the Rafa Nadal Tennis Academy in his home town of Manacor, Majorca.

Isabella Connor travelled with two other girls and three boys from the Irish National Squad based at DCU to spend a week playing matches against players from all over the world.

The Ulster & Irish Tennis Academy player met Nadal and watched him train daily with his coach and uncle Toni Nadal.

Meanwhile, Isabella's older brother, Mackenzie, travelled to Bradenton, Florida to compete in the largest International Junior tennis tournament. It was held at the prestigious Bollitieri IMG Academy, where players such as Andre Aggasi and Serena and Venus Williams have trained from.

While 12-year-old Mackenzie didn't progress he won the warm-up tournament he took part in at the nearby Inspiration Tennis Academy.
