DONAGHMORE: Monday night sessions for boys and girls U6, U8 and U10 will continue at 6:30pm.Please ensure your child wears boots, mouthguard and appropriate clothing for changeable weather conditions.

CUMANN PHEADAIR NAOFA: The young hurlers and camogs played an integral part in the Wake the Giant festival on Sunday. Over 140 children attended the annual week long Kelloggs CulCamp organised by the Down County Board, in association with Cumann Pheadair Naofa, at Pairc Liam Uir. On Tuesday of the camp, the kids and coaches were lucky enough to receive a surprise visit from Tyrone Manager Mickey Harte and Tyrone Senior Footballer Peter Harte.

ST JOHN’S DRUMNAQUOILE: The club are holding their annual Golf Day at Spa GC on Friday September 2. Cost is £30 per person to include green fees, goody bag and meal. To sponsor a hole is £50 or for individuals to be listed on the sponsor’s board is £20. Tee times are limited from 9.30am-1.30pm. The annual Gerry Burns tournament had to be postponed last weekend because of the bad weather. It will now take place on Saturday September 3.

ST ERGNATS MONEYGLASS: Moneyglass Festival of Sport is taking place this week, including The Big Hooley with Justin McGurk and The Boogey Men. Tickets £10.

CLUB DERRY: The Derry Credit Union sponsored Club Derry draw for All-Ireland tickets will take place at Owenbeg on Sunday September 4 at the games.

LISSUMMON: This Sunday’s Strictly fundraiser provides a chance to walk Ireland’s longest tunnel at one mile long and 200 feet underground. Meet at Drumbanagher Parish Church at 2 pm. Wellies/coat and a torch are a must and the walk will be four miles in total. Cost is £ 10 per adult, kids free, with tea and sandwiches.

DARRAGH CROSS: The club will host a Night at the Races this Saturday night at the club with proceeds in aid of Bloodwise. Doors open at 7.15pm, first race is at 8pm and admission is free admission, raffle.

BELLAGHY WOLFE TONES: The club will host an over-35s football tournament and free family fun day in aid of suicide prevention on Saturday. The action will begin at 3pm at Pairc Séan de Brún, with proceeds in aid of the Niamh Louise Foundation, PIPS and STEPS Foundation.

KILLYMAN ST MARY’S: As part of the Daryl Comac Memorial weekend, the club will be hosting an All-Ireland Chat Show Night at Killyman Community Centre on Friday September 2 at 9pm sharp. Compered by Mark Sdiebtoom, the night will feature Tyrone’s Brian McGuigan, Kevin McCloy and Joe Brolly from Derry, Meath’s Bernard Flynn and MLA Barry McElduff. Admission is over 16s and by ticket only. Priced at £20, they are available from Begley Sports, McAleer’s Bar, PB’s Moy, Forbes Club Ardboe and CSR Embroidery Coalisland.
