MONEYGLASS: The Bank Holiday weekend in August is set to be a BIG one in Moneyglass. From Thursday to Sunday, August 25-29 there will be blitzes, bouncy castles, burgers and lots more and lots more in a fun-filled weekend of sport and other activities for all the family. The weekend will finish with a Party Night with ‘Justin McGurk and the Boogie Men’ in Moneyglass Community Centre, followed by a disco and late bar. Doors open 9pm and tickets, priced at £10 are available from the Mothers & Others, Committee Members, Boyd’s Service Stations and online.
ST PAUL’S LURGAN GFC: The club hosts their annual U10 Gaelic Football Tournament, the St Paul’s Cup and Sheila McAlernon Shield this Saturday, August 13. Games start at 10am.
DONAGHMORE: Monday night sessions for boys and girls U6, U8 and U10 will continue at 6.30pm. Please ensure your child wears boots, mouthguard and appropriate clothing for changeable weather conditions, all labelled for easy identification. Minor and Senior Ladies training is on Monday at 7.45pm, U12 Ladies training is on Wednesday evening 6pm-7pm on Donaghmore training pitch and U10 Ladies training continues on Monday nights. Anyone who is able to help coaches at training please come down.
FOREGLEN: Last week saw the passing of former club president and true Gael Willie John McTaggart. O'Brien's Foreglen would like to offer sincere condolences to Jacqueline, Sharon, John, Gavin and Niall and the wider family circle. The club also offer condolences to the McNicholl family on the sad passing of Jimmy. The big breakfast that was to be held last Saturday was postponed and has been rescheduled for this Saturday, August 13 from 10am-1pm. There will be music in the clubhouse on Saturday August 20 from 10pm.
ARMAGH HARPS: This Sunday, August 14 from 5pm-7pm, as part of the Seven Hills Blues Festival the Club, will host the highly acclaimed Cold Porter, featuring the voice of Eilish McCarthy.
GLASDRUMMAN: Tournament dates have now been confirmed with the U10 nine-a-side on Saturday August 20 and the U12 nine-a-side tournament on Saturday September 3. U6 and U8 training continues on a Sunday morning from 11am-12noon. New members welcome. The Eire Og U10s are taking part in the Bryansford tournament this Saturday morning, details will be sent out in a text message. U12 training continues on Tuesday 6.30pm at Quarter Road, while U14 training is on Wednesday evenings at Pats Road at 6.30pm.
BALLYMARTIN: Today sees the last of the Newry, Mourne and Down District Council in partnership with PlayBoard NI hosting of the free play schemes. These sessions are open to children of all ages. Young People can be dropped off but adults of any Under 4s need to remain throughout the session. If you are interested in attending the free play sessions bring your children along and/or come as a volunteer and avail of free training. Play sessions will be co-ordinated by PlayBoard NI in conjunction with local volunteers. The time for the last session today is 2.30pm-4.30pm at Pats Road.
DEVENISH: This year's Garrison Five-Miler will be held in memory of Ryan McGovern, a much-loved underage player who died tragically last December. Proceeds raised from the event, which takes place on Saturday September 3 at 12 Noon, will go to Asthma NI and Angel Wishes NI.
There will be two options for participants on the day - to enter the five-miler or a shorter route from Kilcoo Cross down to the football field.
Registration will take place from 8.30pm-9.30pm on Thursday and Friday September 1 and 2 and from 9am-11am on Saturday September 3. Registration will close at 11am sharp on the morning of the event. Entry Fees: 15+ £12/£15, U15 - £6/£7.50, Family £30/£40.
ST JOHN’S DRUNAMQUOILE: The club host their annual Golf Day at Spa GC on Friday September 2. Cost is £30 per person to include green fees, goody bag and meal.To sponsor a hole the cost is £50 or for individuals to be listed on the sponsors board is £20.

St Johns are hosting the Kelloggs Cúl and Nursery Camp from August 22 to 26 August 2016. Nursery Camp is for children commencing P2 and P3. Cost is £25 per child and runs from 10am-12.30pm.
Cúl Camp is for all children commencing P4 up to the age of 13. The cost is £40. Concessions are available for additional family members for cúl camp and runs from 10am-2.30pm. CLANN NA BANNA: A treasure hunt and fun day will take place this Sunday, leaving the club at 12noon, returning for a fun day at 2pm. The club present The Nooks and the Parcel of Rogues in Banbridge Parish centre on Saturday August 20. Tickets, priced £10, are on sale from Walsh's newsagents or from any committee member.
KILLYMAN ST MARY’S: Underage training for P1P7 children continues on Friday evenings at 6.30pm as normal.
ST PATRICK’S LOUP: This Saturday night there is a charity Country Music Night in aid of MS Society NI in the Social Club at 8.30pm, with music by JD Country. Tickets £5 or pay at the door. Contact 07523 286402 for more information.
CARRICKCRUPPEN: There will be charity table quiz in aid of Cancer Research and Pretty ‘n’ Pink in the clubhouse in Camlough on Friday August 19 at 8.30pm.
LISSUMMON: There is family camp out and movie night at Lissummon GFC this Saturday August 13. Gates open at 4pm with a barbeque from 5pm. Cost is £10 per adult while kids camp free. Cinema for kids costs £5.
