The Irish Wushu team, led by Grandmaster Zhu Changhai, fly off tomorrow morning from Dublin to represent Ireland at this weekend's Shenyang Open Wushu Tournament in northern China.

The team, sponsored by Belfast-based Irish Tour Tickets (irishtourtickets.com) are pictured as final preparations are fine-tuned before departing from Belfast for the Chinese challenge.

The Irish side have been training hard in preparation of the forthcoming Wushu event, a sport that is ever increasing in popularity among young and old here in Ireland, and was one of eight sports nominated to be considered for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
