Rafferty Cup final postponed

WEDNESDAY night’s Rafferty Cup final, scheduled to have been played between Holy Trinity, Cookstown and St Ciarán’s, Ballygawley, was postponed due to the inclement weather at Garvaghey.

The match, which will be rescheduled for a later date, was the first between two Tyrone schools, with both going for their first ever title in the competition. It will see Ballygawley’s Daragh Canavan go up against his father Peter, with the Tyrone great the head of PE at Holy Trinity.
