SARSFIELD'S: As part of their ongoing Community and Charitable work, juvenile members and coaches held a very successful Indoor and Outdoor Training Event where players and coaches were encouraged to dress in their Onesies and PJs to training and to make a donation to the Cool FM Children’s Cancer Charity Cash for Kids Appeal.

ARMAGH HARPS: The club will run a bus to Dublin on Saturday December 5 for a shopping Trip. Cost is £32.50 and this includes your return transport to Dublin and a four-course meal in Murphy’s Bar in Meigh. Anyone interested please contact Shauna McVeigh 07743429988 as there are only a few places left. All bookings require a £20 non-refundable deposit.

NEWRY SHAMROCKS: The club's AGM will take place on Sunday November 22 at 2.30pm in the Club Lounge. All club members are invited to attend.

DONAGHMORE: A series of music classes are running on Wednesday nights from 7pm-9pm in the Torrent Complex until December 16. The tin whistle class is with Donna Campbell, and the fiddle class is with Michael Kerr. Beginners’ class is 7pm-8pm, Intermediate class is 8pm-8.30pm and Advanced class is 8:30pm-9pm. Newcomers are always welcome - ask for Seamus Hetherington. Each class costs £3.50 per night.

ST BRONAGH'S, ROSTREVOR: The AGM will take place on Monday November 23 at 7.30pm. Anyone who would like to join the Tuesday night walkers during the winter nights for approx an hour, they we leave the clubrooms at 7.30pm sharp.Any members interested in taking part in Scór na nOg (U17 on January 1 2016) in any competition, please contact Kathleen McNally asap.The competitions are, Ceili Dancing, Solo Singing, Instrumental Music, Recitation, Ballad Group, Léiriú (Novelty Act) and Set Dancing.

ST PAUL'S, BELFAST: Annual Club Mass will be held on Thursday November 5. All members are requested to attend.

GLASDRUMMAN: Congratulations to the very talented Scor competitors, Ciara Rooney (recitation) and the Ballad Group of Tara Grant, Niamh McDowell, Ciara Rooney, Aoife Grant and Clodagh Morgan, instrumentalists Niamh McDowell, Peter Doran and Cara Sloan on getting through to the South Down Finals joining Niamh McDowell (solo singing). Come out and support on Sunday November 8 at St Mark's Warrenpoint at 4pm. There will be a fundraising quiz on Friday November 6 in the Halfway House at 9.30pm.

ST PAUL'S, LURGAN: The club will be hosting 10k Road Race and 5k Fun Run and Walk this Saturday October 31 at 11am. There will be Chip Timing, Male and Female Categories and prizes for first, second and third for Male and Female in Both Races, plus a prize for Best Halloween Costume. Entry Fee is £10 for the 10k and £5 for the 5K.

ST MARTIN'S, DESERTMARTIN: The club are hosting the St Mungo’s play on Saturday November 14 at 8pm. Tickets are now on sale at £10 each and can be purchased from Ciaran 07968837094, Peter 07944702434 or any committee member. Check out the club Facebook competition to be in with a chance of winning two free tickets!

PEARSE ÓG, ARMAGH: All young club members, family and friends are invited to the Spooky Halloween Fancy Dress Disco this Friday October 30 from 7pm-9pm in the social club. There are prizes for the best fancy dress costumes and plenty of tricks and treats in store. Entry is £3.

ROCK ST PATRICK'S: The next committee meeting will be held on Wednesday November 4 at 8pm.

LISSAN: The Children’s Halloween Disco will be held in the Lissan GAC clubrooms on Sunday November 1 from 5pm-8pm.

JOHN MITCHEL'S: The annual £100 ticket draw will take place at Cumber House on Saturday December 5 2015. Tickets are available from any committee member or club coach.

ST COLUMBAN'S HIGH SCHOOL, KILKEEL: Are running their annual GAA coaching Clinic on Saturday November 14. Thise involved will be Jordanstown Gaa manager Barney McAleenan, Tyrone U21 All-Ireland winning conditioning coach Lorcan Martin, Head of PE at St Colman’s College Cathal Murray, former Down minor manager Shane Mulholland and Ambrose Rogers and Mark Poland. both Down games and development coaches will be guests in the coaching forum where attending coaches will have an opportunity to engage in an open coaching discussion covering a wide range of topics.


The event is open to all coaches of any age level be it school, club or county or any code as the games and drills on show will be easily transferrable to both Camogie and Hurling. The day commences at 10am sharp and the cost of the day is £10 or E15 which can be made payable on the day and includes, tea/coffee and an information booklet with sample training sessions.
