CARGIN have beaten Lámh Dhearg comfortably to secure their first Antrim SFC title since 2006. Erin's Own defeated the men from Hannahstown by 2-11 to 1-5 to earn them the daunting challenge of Armagh champions Crossmaglen in Ulster Club SFC on November 1.

In the Ulster Club Championship preliminary round, Derry champions Slaughtneil destroyed Fermanagh representatives Derrygonnelly Harps on a scoreline of 4-13 to 1-4. The Erne side were confined to a single point as they endured a humiliating second-half at Owenbeg.

In Monaghan, Scotstown beat Monaghan Harps by 2-12 to 1-9 to secure their 16th title in the Farney county, while Naomh Conaill upset St Eunan’s in Donegal, winning the final by the narrowest of margins, 0-11 to 0-10. Scotstown will play Slaughtneil, while Naomh Conaill will take on Tyrone champions Trillick in Ulster - both ties will take place on November 1.
