Michael McGovern: Alert to everything, keeping out an early shot, claiming a cross, and diving to punch clear. Had no chance with goal. 7

Paddy McNair: The youngster was keen to get forward, and fired over a rising drive, but did his defensive duties well against the dangerous Holebas. 7

Gareth McAuley: The big WBA man led from the back, attacking early aerial balls, and although Mitroglou got away a couple of times, he was solid. 7

Craig Cathcart: Replacing another ex-Man Utd man, Jonny Evans, showed the same calmness and composure. Used the ball well. 7.5

Chris Brunt: Made some important defensive headers and blocked a goal-bound shot just before break. Sent over corner for third goal. 7.5

Oliver Norwood: Played the deeper role and impressed, getting in shots, delivering smart passes, and supplying the corner for the second goal. 8

Steven Davis: Steady start, then started and finished the opening goal move. The skipper blossomed after that and smartly headed in the third goal that put victory beyond doubt. 9

Corry Evans: Began very brightly, finding room between the Greek defence and midfield. Covered a lot of ground helping out in defence at times. 7.5

Jamie Ward: As ever, full of effort, but his racing around was generally to good effect. Came close with a well-struck shot. 7.5

Josh Magennis: Let one chance slip but was unlucky to see goal-bound shot deflect wide off a defender. Touch of fortune to his goal but he worked hard. 7

Stuart Dallas: Created a chance for Magennis from the left wing but popped up on the right to deliver killer centre for the first goal. 7.5

SUBSTITUTES

Liam Boyce: Looked comfortable, settling straight away, and showed some nice touches. 7

Niall McGinn: Didn’t have much time to show what he can do. 6

Luke McCullough: Not on long enough to be rated.
