THE organisers of the Belfast City Half-Marathon have announced that sportswear company ASICS is to be the title sponsor of the third Belfast City Half-Marathon on Sunday, September 20.
The event is a spin-off of the hugely popular Belfast City Marathon, which takes place for the 34th consecutive year on May Day bank holiday Monday (May 4).
Marie Curie will be the official nominated charity for both events.
This year's race will start and finish in Ormeau Park. The site lends itself well to running events like the Belfast marathon and Joe Seeley 10K.
It is also located close to the city centre for the convenience of participants and spectators alike.
The route will again showcase the city of Belfast by passing major landmarks including Belfast City Hall, Albert Clock and the Titanic Quarter.
