NOEL Fehily (right) makes a swift return to action with five rides at Ascot today after missing a mount at Market Rasen on Thursday.

The jockey took a tumble from Ready Token in the novice hurdle, but was passed fit by the course doctor to partner Superior Quality an hour later.

After that horse was tailed off in a handicap hurdle, Fehily did not feel well enough to ride Munsaab in the next race, a handicap chase. However, he was feeling much better on Friday and is looking forward to his book of rides at the Berkshire track on Saturday. "I'm grand. I've got five rides tomorrow," said Fehily. "I was feeling a bit under the weather, I just wasn't feeling great. I'd have been riding again on Friday if there had been racing at Chepstow. I'm a lot better today. "I've got some nice rides. Hopefully Highland Retreat will go well in the mares' hurdle. She's been progressing away nicely and hoping she can run a big race tomorrow with a bit of luck."

* CHRISELLIAM is reported to be "well on the road to recovery" from a poisoned foot that has halted her training schedule.

The filly, rated the champion two-year-old of her sex in the European Thoroughbred Rankings released on Thursday, is making good progress in the Valley Equine Hospital at Lambourn.

Trainer Charlie Hills remains confident that his Shadwell Fillies' Mile and Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf winner will be able to continue her racing career and bid for Classic honours.

Co-owned by former champion jockey Willie Carson, Chriselliam is second-favourite at around 7/1 for the Qipco 1000 Guineas at Newmarket on May 4. "We just wanted to let people know that she's had a setback with a poisoned foot," said Hills. "The vets have been doing a good job. She's at the Equine Hospital in Lambourn at the moment where Jessica Kidd and Roger Betteridge along with Ian Wright are doing what they can. "She's had three good days and the infection is under control now. She's well on the road to recovery, but we don't know yet how long she will have to stay there. "If this kind of thing was going to happen, then this was the right time. You wouldn't want it to happen in February. She's been a good patient and doing everything right. She's eating well and she's lying down which is good taking weight off the other leg."

* DUAL Group One winner La Collina is to visit Darley stallion Dubawi after being retired to the paddocks.

The five-year-old was trained by Kevin Prendergast to land the Phoenix Stakes at the Curragh as a juvenile, when she defeated the colts, and the Matron Stakes at Leopardstown last September.

Her other win from 16 starts came on her debut at Limerick in June 2011.

La Collina has gone to owners' Joerg and Diana Vasicek's Kenilworth House Stud at Clonmel in County Tipperary. "She's been retired to stud. She'd done enough. She'd won two Group Ones and she was very consistent," said Prendergast.
