Henry out and Bowe a doubt for Wallabies

FLANKER Chris Henry (right) will miss the rest of Ireland's autumn international series after suffering a hamstring tear in saturday's 40-9 samoa victory. Ireland team manager Michael Kearney confirmed the Ulster back-rower is expected to be sidelined for four to six weeks. Leinster's Shane Jennings has been drafted into the squad as replacement.

Munster centre Keith Earls is still not fit to return this week, as he continues to battle knee trouble.

And Kearney admitted wing Tommy Bowe is a doubt for saturday's Australia clash in Dublin, after suffering bruising to his leg against samoa. Luke Fitzgerald trained with Ireland at their Carton House base on Monday as a precautionary replacement.

Brian O'Driscoll, Paul O'Connell, Sean O'Brien have all come their injury returns safely.

"unfortunately Chris suffered a hamstring tear on Saturday and will miss the rest of the series, so Shane Jennings has been called in as a replacement," said Kearney yesterday.

"Tommy Bowe took a kick to his leg early on, it's sore and bruised but he's unlikely to train today and tomorrow, so Luke Fitzgerald has been called in as a replacement for Tommy for today.

"Jonny sexton is expected to train fully and be available for selection, and otherwise everyone came through well.

"Keith Earls has been slow to settle and won't be available this week and will continue to be monitored.

"Brian, Paul, and Sean suffered no adverse reaction to their recent injuries.

"With Tommy it's really a day-today thing, I would say he is a little bit sore, it is a bruise.

"so it's got to be day to day as we monitor his progress."
