A SAVAGE killer who murdered a devoted grandmother, stabbing her 26 times in a frenzied attack after breaking into her home and handcuffing her two daughters, has been released from jail. Liam 'Birdie' McBride was convicted in 2000 of murdering 48-year-old Sally Diver in the hallway of her north Belfast home.
