Sinn Féin MP Barry McElduff has resigned with "great sadness" after tweeting a video which caused hurt to the families of 10 men murdered by the IRA in Kingsmill plus the sole survivor.
The West Tyrone politician tweeted a video in which he balanced a Kingsmill loaf on his head on the anniversary of the atrocity.
Sinn Féin suspended him for three months but today he annouced his resignation.
