James Street South restaurant apprenticeships open for a fourth year

JAMES Street South chef Niall McKenna is running the chef apprentice programme in his restaurant group for a fourth year.

The scheme is open to 16-24 year olds and operates in collaboration with Belfast Met.

The 12 apprentices will work across the restaurant group, including the flagship James Street South, the Bar & Grill, Hadskis, The Cookery School and Cast & Crew in the Titanic Quarter.

They will combine this on-the-job training with two days’ attendance at the Belfast Metropolitan College to gain their professional qualifications.
