Race promotors Born2Run Event Company have teamed up with Hovis for this year’s Castleward Challenge Half Marathon, 10K & 5K.

Hovis Commercial Director Trevor McCrum and Category Manager Barry Spence were at Castle Ward with the Born2Run team this week for the launch of 2017 race which takes place on April 8.

''We are delighted to be team up with Born2Run and we see this as a great opportunity for our Live Good brand to be associated with this fantastic event,'' said Trevor McCrum.

The Castleward Challenge is now in its sixth year and is a multi-terrain race set in a stunning location on the shores of Strangford Lough. The event offers a choice of distances to suit runners of all abilities. There is also a 10K walk for those who like to take things at a gentler pace.

Hovis has recently launched their Live Good range of breads which are perfect for runners and anyone interested in a healthy lifestyle. The Live Good range is high in Vitamin D and fibre but low in salt. At only 59 calories a slice, it is perfect for anyone watching their weight.
