Bosses need to tread carefully over politics in the workplace

IN recent years, employers in the United States have begun taking it upon themselves to advise their staff how to vote. Most Americans continue to find this practice outrageous - so how much more outrageous might it be in Northern Ireland, where promoting a “harmonious” workplace regardless of “political opinion” is a statutory requirement?
