Sean Connolly was known across Belfast and beyond as the wee man with the Antrim scarf and the smile for everyone. 'Wee Seanie' was a real character in GAA circles and especially in Andersonstown with his knowledge of its history and love for the area. He was born in Cawnpore Street in Clonard in 1944 but moved to Anderstonstown at the age of four. As a young man he joined his brother Danny in Clonard GAC and served as delegate to the South Antrim Board until the team wound up. However, it was Casement Park that was his second home.
