POLICE have seized a number of suspicious items at Milltown Cemetery in west Belfast.
Officers were seen yesterday evening at the cemetery with sniffer dogs.
The PSNI said "suspicious items" were recovered, but did not disclose what the items were.
In a statement a spokesman said: "Police in west Belfast received a report of a number of suspicious items at Milltown Cemetery on Monday July 30.
"Officers attended and have recovered the items which will be taken away for examination.
"There are no further details at present."
