SDLP's Declan Boyle: ‘I won't benefit from £80,000 Holylands grant'

AN SDLP Belfast councillor who has dozens of Holylands rental properties has insisted that he won't benefit from a proposed £80,000 grant for the student area. The Irish News last month revealed that Declan Boyle did not declare an interest when a council committee he chairs approved the Holylands improvement scheme funding. Mr Boyle is a landlord managing more than 30 student lets in the south Belfast student area that earn hundreds of thousands of pounds a year.
