Charities help with cost of school uniforms

A CAMPAIGN in east Belfast to recycle school uniforms is requesting donations over the summer months.

The Scaffolding Project have said all uniform items are welcome and has asked that they be left at the East Belfast Independent Advice Centre (EBIAC) or 


Sure Start offices located in East Belfast Network Centre, 55 Templemore Avenue, Belfast BT5 4FP.

There are two forthcoming events:       

EastSide Learning Literacy Day (C.S. Lewis Square), Friday 17th August, 10.30am-2.30pm


EastSide Market (C.S. Lewis Square), Sunday 26th August, 11am-3pm

A second-hand shop in west Belfast is offering cut-price uniforms ahead of the new school year.

Springfield Charitable Association is offering 'quality-checked' uniforms throughout August. The shop is also accepting donations at their premises at 77 Springfield Road, Belfast.
