PEOPLE Before Profit's Gerry Carroll won his West Belfast seat with the second-highest first preference vote in the elections.

Mr Carroll had a personal vote second only to DUP leader Arlene Foster.

The top five candidates as per first preference votes:

Arlene Foster (DUP) Fermanagh & South Tyrone 8,801

Gerry Carroll (PBP) West Belfast 8,299

Carla Lockhart (DUP) Upper Bann 7,993

William Irwin (DUP) Newry & Armagh 7,980

Ian Milne (SF) Mid Ulster 7,035
