A WELL-known GAA player and teacher has taken to social media to share an exam answer given by one of his pupils that pokes fun at the DUP and Arlene Foster.

Ryan McCluskey, a centre-back for Co Fermanagh and secondary school teacher, posted the picture on social media yesterday that shows a pupil’s answer to a geography question.

The question reads: "What are the six main problems that face the earth today?"

The pupil answered: "Acid rain. Global warming. Pollution. Radiation. Arlene Foster. DUP."

A comment from the teacher written beneath the pupil's answer reads: "Actually laughed out loud!!"

Mr McCluskey posted the picture and added the caption: "Good old exam paper fun. Brilliant".

The post seems to point to the controversial stance on climate change taken by several senior DUP figures in the past - a topic which has come to the fore recently as the party prepare to prop up Theresa May’s Tory government.

Most notable is former environment minister Sammy Wilson, who previously stated that man-made climate change is a 'con'.

As well as being a star GAA player, Ryan McCluskey also had a successful soccer career with Portadown and the Dungannon Swifts in the Irish Premier League.
