Car showroom plan opposed by families in housing need

The old Dunnes Stores at Hillview Retail Park in the Crumlin Road with plans to turn it into a car showroom and café.
FAMILIES on the housing waiting list, some in hostel accommodation for over two years, are to protest against the proposed commercial development of a north Belfast site they say should be used for social housing. Planning permission for the redevelopment including a car showroom and drive through restaurant and café have already been submitted for the Hillview retail park on the Crumlin Road.
