Time magazine has created a new cover and, well, it’s got influence from both the US and Russia…

The cover – depicting a cross between the White House building and the famous St Basil’s Cathedral from just outside the Kremlin – is of course a nod towards US president Donald Trump’s highly controversial relationship with Russia. The Trump campaign was being investigated by former FBI chief James Comey into alleged links to Russia before Trump fired him, an investigation which is ongoing. Meanwhile, in the past week it was revealed Trump leaked highly classified information to Russian officials when they visited the US capitol.
The cover has caused quite a stir online. Some found the image quite disturbing.

And then a few others believed it just confirmed Trump’s view that mainstream media is “fake news”.
@TIME The popular thing is to bash our president because he's against the corruption and rewards you're so used to. #corruptmedia #fakenews????????

Also, some wanted to point out the building in Russia isn’t actually part of the Kremlin…
@glasgowdick @TIME Please note that this colorful thing thing is actually a CHURCH – Saint Basil's Cathedral, it is not KREMLIN.
