THE north's annual celebration of Uncle Hank's automotive creations returns to Portrush on Sunday, bringing a huge selection of blue oval badged motors to the north coast.

The involvement of Trust Ford, Capri Club Northern Ireland and the RS Owners Club ensures that visitors to this free event can enjoy static displays of classic Ford favourites including Capris, Escorts, Cortinas, Granadas, Sierras and Fiestas from all over Ireland and Britain, plus American favourites like the Mustang, modern 'Euro' fare from the Focus and Mondeo ranges and much more besides.

This year the Causeway Coast Ford Fair will be moving from its traditional home at the Dunluce Centre to Portrush's West Strand, where thousands of car lovers will be able to check out upwards of 400 lovingly presented Fords from every era.

Enthusiasts can also pick up some parts and accessories for their pride and joys from vendors at the Fair's 'trade village', while kids' activities will be laid on to help keep future drivers entertained and a 'food village' should ensure nobody ends up running on empty while enjoying the show.

Ford Fair kicks off on Sunday at 9am, with cars arriving until 12pm. After this, the judges will begin circulating to select their favourite cars of the show with winners announced shortly before 4pm.

As ever, the motors will be there come rain or shine, so don't let any turn in the weather dissuade you from checking out the biggest and best Ford show in Ireland.
