LOW-cost carrier easyJet has added 155,000 extra summer seats from Belfast International to London, Malaga, Alicante, Faro, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Palma, Ibiza and Split.
And that will take the number of easyJet seats available from Aldergrove in the March 26-October 28 period to more than three million for the first time ever.
The airline continues to see strong growth at Belfast and now has an unrivalled network of 28 destinations including a new service to Dubrovnik which launches on May 14.
EasyJet’s Northern Ireland head Ali Gayward said: “We’re delighted to be able to cater for this extra demand from our customers in Belfast and in doing so continue our expansion at the airport.
“We've added a significant number of extra seats which allows us to continue to provide affordable, convenient connections for our customers whether they’re travelling on business or leisure.”
Belfast International Airport business development director Uel Hoey added: “This is excellent news for the Northern Ireland travelling public, as we see our partnership with easyJet yielding a record level of choice for consumers over the incoming summer months.

EasyJet links Belfast with more London airports than any other carrier, offering up to 32 flights a day and 180 flights a week between Belfast and London including 14 flights a day between London Gatwick and Belfast with fares starting from £16.99.
