AN INITIATIVE to address inequalities within Ireland's central border region has been shortlisted in this year's Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) Planning excellence Awards, which take place in London on June 23. The Regional Strategic Framework (RSF) for the central border region - which includes the council areas of Armagh, Cavan, Cookstown, Donegal, Dungannon, Fermanagh, Leitrim, Magherafelt, Monaghan, Omagh and Sligo - was developed by the Irish Central Border Area Network along with other key stakeholders including the Department for Regional Development.
