HOTHOUSE Flowers and Camille O’Sullivan are among the musical highlights of this year's EastSide Arts Festival which takes place in Belfast from August 2 to 12.

The programme includes a big top at CS Lewis Square, featuring family circus entertainment, as well as tours, talks and workshops. There's also a family rave and there'll be storytelling, poetry and literature from artists including east Belfast residents Anthony Toner, Jan Carson, Ken Haddock, Stuart Bailie, and Andrea Montgomery.

There will be a rehearsed reading of Jimmy Ellis: Home Again, the late east Belfast actor's autobiography, theatre, comedy and film events at the Strand Arts Centre, while Van Morrison tribute band Celtic Soul will perform east Belfast's most famous musical son's album Astral Weeks.
