ONE of Belfast’s biggest events of the summer, the Belsonic music festival, is back this month, celebrating it’s 10th anniversary with a host of international acts.

Things kick off on Tuesday, with Canadian indie kings Arcade Fire making their much anticipated Belfast debut at the festival’s new location, Ormeau Park, supported by Brighton rockers The Kooks.

Mancunian outfit The 1975 play their biggest Northern Ireland gig to date when they headline this day week, while other stand-out names from a something-for-everyone artist list include Jess Glynn and Chainsmokers.

For the record, the full Belsonic line-up is: Tuesday June 13 – Arcade Fire, The Kooks; Friday June 16 – The 1975, Picture This, Pale Waves; Saturday 17 – Cream Classical Live, K-Klass, Judge Jules, Tall Paul, Robbie Nelson; Monday 19 – Martin Garrix, Don Diablo, Justin Mylo; Thursday 22 – Jess Glynn, Martin Jensen plus support; Monday 26 – The Chainsmokers, Anne-Marie, Lost Kings; Friday 30 – Axwell / Ingrosso, Jonas Blue. (Green Day play Ormeau Park on Wednesday June 28, though that's not a Belsonic show.)
