DEPUTY DIGITAL EDITOR Maeve Connolly worked as a news reporter for the Irish News for over a decade before joining the digital revolution. Her reporting has taken her to Malawi, Rome and the glamorous surrounds of a Birmingham park for a papal visit. She has also hung out with the Dalai Lama for three days (they didn't stay in touch) and has been writing a column for the newspaper since 2000. At present her smartphone is laden down with apps but she's firmly of the opinion that apps are like shoes, you can never have enough.
EVERY day is a school day for Sleb Safari. Just the other day it learnt that you should never tumble dry skinny jeans because when the time comes to wrestle them on they'll reach your knees and burst out laughing.
WORD to the wise, don’t try to contact Sleb Safari from November 4 to 9 because it will be sailing the high seas with David Hasselhoff, his extended family and "long term friends", most of whom he knows by name.
