Allison Morris began her reporting career more than 15 years ago, working in the weekly newspaper industry.

She joined the Irish News in 2007 and since then has gone on to collect several awards for her work.

They include: NUJ journalist of the year 2010, Society of Editors news journalist of the year 2011 and CIPR columnist of the year 2014.

Allison is also a regular columnist for The Irish News.
