Allison Morris began her reporting career more than 15 years ago, working in the weekly newspaper industry.

She joined the Irish News in 2007 and since then has gone on to collect several awards for her work.

They include: NUJ journalist of the year 2010, Society of Editors news journalist of the year 2011 and CIPR columnist of the year 2014.

Allison is also a regular columnist for The Irish News.

THE father of a man murdered by the double agent known as Stakeknife has expressed concern following the collapse of the Gary Haggarty 'supergrass' case, saying he fears they may also have been given "false hope".
