Intervention not duplicity

SHOULD be heartened to learn Sinn Féin's Mickey Brady has condemned recent death threats against my son. Sadly his condemnation is of no comfort whatsoever given the history of his party in these matters.

Conor Murphy said Paul Quinn was a criminal and that his death was the result of a row between criminal gangs. The Independent Commission on Decommissioning determined that members of the Provisional IRA were responsible. Sinn Féin publicly called on people to give information to the PSNI while privately closing down the hatches.

Gerry Adams came to South Armagh recently and appealed for information on the murder of Paul Quinn. Paul's mother said when Adams was making the appeal he was looking down on her son's killers in the crowd. I have asked for intervention not duplicity. To date I have had no response. Sinn Féin must do better than this.
