No problem parking in Coalisland

AM a Coalisland business man and I disagree with the article (March 26) on no fines for Coalisland parking offenders.

We in Coalisland do not have a parking problem as we have ample parking. We have a public car park in the centre of the town and supermarkets have their own large car parks. The traffic flows freely through the town.

Maurice Morrow last year brought this up about Coalisland parking chaos and accused officials of treating it as a privileged town. For some reason Coalisland was the only town he talked about.

I challenge him to come to Coalisland to see first hand the parking we have.

All towns need good parking for shoppers. We don't need to be persecuting shoppers for parking.

We don't need traffic wardens in Coalisland as we don't have a parking problem. Come and shop in Coalisland, the traffic flows good and a good welcome for shoppers awaits.
