READ with interest Fr Paddy McCafferty's comments on the movie Fifty Shades of Grey (February 16). He warned Christian's not to go to the movie as he claims it is contrary to the faith and an offence against human dignity. I am very disappointed with his negative and narrow-minded comments. As a committed Christian I feel that I am quite capable to decide if I choose to watch the movie. Fr McCafferty has taken advantage of his position by trying to influence people from watching the movie. This portrays a conservative and negative view of intimacy and sexuality.
