Safeguarding human rights

WHO actually funds the Human Rights Commission? I hope that it isn't the taxpayer as the cases they take on seem purely arbitrary.

Can this organisation not see the 'elephant in the room' when it comes to their latest foray into the human rights debate? They are supporting changing our abortion law to include clauses on babies with fatal foetal abnormalities and in cases of rape.

Science shows that human life begins at conception.

By being conceived we are human and human rights are conferred at this point. Babies with fatal foetal abnormalities and babies conceived through rape have human rights like the rest of us. The Human Rights Commission is obviously failing in its duty to safeguard the most basic of human rights - the right to life of all human beings from the moment of conception. We need a Human Rights body which understands the true nature of the abortion debate.
