FOR Sinn Féin's Conor Murphy to say that he could not get the other parties to oppose the installation of water meters is a completely new approach on how to offset blame. Since I learned that Conor Murphy did not stop the installation of water meters when, as regional development minister, he was in a position to do so, I now believe that the Sinn Féin spin doctors will be working overtime to find someone else to blame.
New meters have been installed in the part of west Belfast where my sister and her family live. Her husband refers to them as 'Conor Murphy Meters' because of the then minister's failure to prevent their installation.
