DO not have much time for many politicians but I commend Claire Hanna, the South Belfast SDLP councillor who certainly does her job 100 per cent. During the heavy rain last year and this year she was out with her rain wear on and wellies. I live where the heavy rain lies and bubbles just fly out of the drains, which are never cleaned by the DoE. She is constantly on at the DoE but I think she is fighting a losing battle as the DoE does nothing to improve the flooding in our area. Not one other councillor from any other party came round to our area during the last heavy rainfall but when it comes to elections they all put their papers through our letter boxes.
