In the interest of consistency

I WOULD hope that those who have publicly and, like myself, privately backed the Asher family in their conscientious objections to the display of support for gay marriages, will be equally vociferous in voicing their backing for the conscientious objection of James McClean to wearing a poppy on his football jersey for the reasons he set out in his letter to the chairman of Wigan.

So, in the interests of consistency, I would like to hear the comments of Nigel Dodds, Gregory Campbell, Fr Tim Bartlett on the rights of young McClean in this matter.
