Abortion is black or white

MARY McGuigan's emotional letter (June 4) about abortion was sadly inaccurate. Sinn Fein support abortion - it is in their manifesto.

At their annual conference in November 2013, 36 per cent of SDLP delegates believed abortion should be available to women who choose it after counselling. Sinn Fein and SDLP restate they do not support abortion in the hope that Catholics will believe them and vote for them. The Catholics Church's teaching on abortion is unequivocal and it was described by two recent popes as an 'abominable sin'. You either support abortion or you don't. You can't support a little bit of abortion now and again when you feel the choice is right for you or your family. As Christ said: 'you are either with me or against me'.
