What the voters in England want is what we get

IT WOULD be quite naive to think that UKIP's success at the European Parliament elections will result in only a handful of seats at a general election.

It could be another landslide in their favour.

The simple truth is English voters don't want immigrants. Even immigrants don't want immigrants.

What the English voters want we get.

Stormont is powerless on such major issues.

While it has to be acknowledged that some European legislation is simply pettish and trivial the question that English voters and extreme right-wing voters here should ask themselves is: do we really want to return to Victorian values and lose what human rights protection we have been afforded through the European Community leaving ourselves exposed to wars, exploitation and working conditions verging on slavery?
