PERHAPS if irish was more widely spoken or even familiar in the broader loyalist community an embarrassing episode could have been avoided. I seem to remember the loyal wife of a prominent politician mistakenly protesting to Citybus about "that foreign language" on our buses. Sadly the language in question happened to be French.
