Blair's fudged opportunity

WASN't it nice of Tony Blair to give his tuppence worth as to how he now views his GFA prodigy and goes on to remind us of the Sinn Fein mantra and refrain of no alternative. Britain wrecked and partitioned our Irish nation. It is up to them to put it back together again, that is the only lasting and viable alternative.

Blair was prime minister for 10 years with a sizeable majority in parliament most of that time which left him in a unique position to do something useful about righting Britain's wrongs in Ireland. Instead he fudged the opportunity and choose to announce to us and the rest of the world he would not be a persuader for a united Ireland.
