Concert venue a poor shop window for city

BELFAST'S Waterfront Hall is a poor shop window for the city if our recent experience is anything to go by.

The venue nearly took the edge off an otherwise thrilling concert by Belfast Community Gospel Choir last Saturday night. The lifts weren't working, while most of the toilets were out of action too.

Having recently paid another huge rates bill, I do wonder whether Belfast City Council can be trusted to spend that money wisely when it can't keep the loos flushing at our premier concert venue.
